Know what to expect
Those entering will experience tight spaces, uneven floors and walking surfaces, fog and smoke effects, strobe lights, wet encounters, low visibility and low-lit scenes, loud audio, sudden startles, gory scenes, claustrophobic rooms and an overall demanding environment.
You should not enter if you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol, pregnant, have heart or respiratory problems, are prone to seizures, have back problems, are claustrophobic, under the age of 12, have a bad attitude or a physical limitation.
Respect the haunt
Our actors won’t touch you. Please don’t touch them. Don’t touch the props—or what might appear to be a prop.
- No running, smoking or alcohol.
- No sandals.
- No cell phones, flashlights, cameras, costumes or recording devices.
- No beverages or food inside the attractions.
Our job is to scare the SHIT out of you! If you don’t come to get scared, please don’t purchase a ticket. We reserve the right to refuse admission to anyone.
Danger: do not leave the path
Leaving the path could result in serious injury. The trail is specifically cut around hazards such as barbed wire fencing, rocks, large holes and other farmyard hazards.
The trail has been mowed and will have a clear walking path of short grass. If you become lost, please turn back and ask for directions.
We understand you want to scare your friends. Please inquire about joining the Haunt Crew at the Halloween Store to help us do it. Do not ruin the experience for other people. You can also request to join our team online.
Anyone caught leaving the path or being “out of bounds” will be escorted off the premises with no refund and banned from returning to Dark Acres Haunted House.
Emergency exits are clearly marked and are for emergencies only.

This Haunted House utilizes low-lit scenes, claustrophobic rooms, smoke effects, loud noises, strobe lights, uneven walking surfaces and other scary situations. Attending a Haunted House exposes you to risks of injury to your body, emotions and property. By attending, you release Dark Acres, LLC & Bluelimit, LLC and their agents from any claims as a result of injuries or damages you may incur.
By entering this attraction, you give Dark Acres, LLC and Bluelimit, LLC the right to use your image on all promotional materials.
